In its third year, the Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival returns to the serene lush grounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat on Saturday February 22 from 1pm to 6pm.
This is the perfect occasion to gather friends and family for an afternoon of vibrant Asian Street Food, refreshing beverages, great sounds and relaxing pleasures…
Indulge in flavoursome Asian Street Food by The Tamarind’s highly acclaimed Head Chef, Daniel Jarrett. Sip on prestige wines, Brouhaha Beer and tipples from Noosa’s Fortune Distillery including inspired gin and vodka creations plus their own cider.
Gain new cooking skills by attending the Asian cooking demonstrations hosted by The Tamarind’s talented chefs in the Cooking School. Taste and learn at a Riesling Masterclass hosted by Spicers Group’s wine guru, awarded sommelier, and GM of Clovelly Estate, Peter Marchant.
Lounge on ‘bring-your-own’ picnic blankets and cushions on the slopes of the grassed amphitheatre and listen to the cool sounds of the live entertainment including talented singer guitarist Dan McGarhan and his band.
This is a perfect opportunity to wander from street stall to street stall, to be tempted by the food and drinks, and to chat to the knowledgeable experts.
Festival Tickets per person are $99 for adults; $65 for children. This includes five Food Tickets – one for each of the five food stalls (due to the nature of this event, unfortunately the catering of special dietary requirements cannot be fulfilled on the day); two Beverage Tickets – six beverages on offer from three stalls.
Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase on the day.
