Mystic Mountain Tours

May 13, 2019 | Business, Tourism

Lynn and Andrew Fallon started Mystic Mountain Tours in 2003. With a range of vehicles in their fleet, and caring drivers, they offer a chance to explore the breathtaking landscape and beautiful towns in the idyllic Hinterland and they now also have a new range of tours for locals.

“We called our business Mystic Mountain Tours because the ancient Glasshouse Mountains inspired us and we wanted to share this special place with others,” explained Lynn.

“In 2000 we moved from Bundaberg where we had been partners in a building business,” continued Andrew. “Visiting Lynn’s family who had moved to Montville made us want to make some life changing decisions.”

So what can you expect on a Mystic Mountain Hinterland Tour? “For tourists we provide an authentic guided tour where they can discover the gourmet delights of the region, with locally grown and handmade specialties, unparalleled cheeses, ice creams, sourdough bread or a bushtucker walk in the rainforest. This is just a sample of what we can offer,” said Lynn.

“These food tours meet at the Maleny IGA or Montville Tourist Information, custom transfers can also be added by arrangement.”

For guests staying at local hinterland accommodation, take the time to sample local craft beers, local-roasted coffee, guided whisky tastings, a visit to the vineyard and let someone else drive!

“We are also happy to explore possibilities for you to have a unique itinerary for small or large groups celebrating special occasions or with a theme or interest in mind,” Lynn added.

“Our new tours, just launched, are for locals to enjoy short breaks, to travel in comfort with their own hinterland company,” smiled Lynn.

“We have a tour every month to inspiring and interesting destinations, day trips, short stays and even a week to Outback Queensland. To find out more about these exciting adventures ask for the calendar of tours or some brochures.

“Oh, and ask about the new Australian Story tour which showcases the unique nature of the Sunshine Coast, it takes visitors to places they may not find on their own.”

It’s good to know there is a local business offering so much to the community; tours, transfers and charters, from travelling to the airport, or for school excursions, and outings for social clubs.

Andrew and Lynn clearly love what they do, so hop on board and let the journey begin!
