Space to savour at The Orangery
Featuring a modern Australian cuisine, inspired by local growers, The Orangery, Maleny, has established itself as a venue which is suitable for any type of event. Walk inside and enjoy its eclectic and unique furnishings, all set within a light, breezy space.
Owner Heather Andrews explained, “We can cater for functions from ten to 100 people. Our relaxing interior includes a restaurant area with table service and a wraparound deck, which is perfect for drinks, platters and breakfast.”
The Orangery offers a modern, contemporary menu that reflects their philosophy – simple food done well.
Breakfast ranges from Canadian Pancakes to Eggs Benedict to the Vegan Delight (potato rosti with marinated field mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, wilted spinach and caramelised onions).
Lunch offers up gourmet burgers, wraps, salads, seafood and delicious house specials, such as pork belly with salad and chips, or Texan chili with sour cream, coriander and corn bread.
And let’s not forget the amazing cakes! Apple crumble cakes, mini chocolate brownies, orange and almond cake and much more to enjoy with some speciality tea from the extensive selection.
“Everything from our sauces to our cakes are hand made on the premises by our small team of dedicated chefs,” shared Heather. “And all dietary requirements can be catered for.”
This charming venue is open seven days for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and can be available any time for functions.
“We can cater for private events, corporate or casual lunches, dinners, birthdays, high teas and celebrations, designing a package and menu to suit your needs.”
So, for a delicious meal in a beautiful Queenslander, with the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance, it’s certainly worth paying The Orangery a visit. They even have a shop to peruse downstairs, full of locally made produce, artwork, cards and various unique gifts.
