Mapleton Flea Markets are proving popular
By Gay Liddington
The Mapleton Flea Markets are fast becoming a fixture in the Hinterland market-goer’s calendar, with the final one for the year promising to be another successful event.
Local markets make it possible to shop for locally produced, super-fresh goods and beautiful handmade items here on the Range, and that’s got to be a good thing!
The Mapleton Flea Markets, held in the beautiful grounds of The Mapleton Hall on Obi Obi Rd, have been well received by the local community, with a full choice of market fare, from fresh produce, to gorgeous handmade items, plants, crafts, arts and plenty of bargains on offer, as well as entertainment and refreshments available.
The market is an all-weather venue, inside the hall and in the grounds, with off-street parking. The Mapleton Flea Market is a non-commercial event: all funds raised go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the hall and grounds.
The next market will be held on Saturday November 24, from 8am – 12 noon.
“We warmly welcome you to enjoy the day with our community,” said convenor, Paula Wright.
