The LifeFlight Razor Challenge is RACQ LifeFlight’s most gruelling cycling challenge. After bad weather scuppered the event last month, it is back on November 10!
This unique challenge originates from a concept called ‘Everesting’ which involves cycling repeats of one climb until the accumulated ascents reach 8848 metres – the altitude of Mount Everest. The trail stretches 5.3 kilometres, up and down Razorback Road, Montville/Hunchy and 12 dedicated cyclists are attempting this to raise funds to keep the RACQ LifeFlight helicopters flying.
It’s predicted to take approximately 17 to 20 hours to complete. Come and cheer them on!
