The Hinterland is recognised nationally as a ‘hotspot’ for its exceptional diversity of wildlife, and Hinterland Bush Links aims to protect the plants and animals of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Hinterland Bush Links is bringing highly acclaimed conservation leader, Keith Bradby, to Maleny on October 12. Keith pioneered a visionary project to create Gondwana Link, a 1000km wildlife corridor from south-west Western Australia to the edge of the Nullarbor Plain.
This is akin to the Great Eastern Ranges corridor from Cape York to Victoria, of which Hinterland Bush Links is a part. Keith supports this landscape connectivity work nationally, which is focussed on the future for our native plants and animals.
Keith is an inspirational and entertaining speaker and this will be a great opportunity to engage with him about conservation strategies to protect wildlife in the Sunshine Coast region.
This event is at 7pm, Friday, October 12 at the Maleny Community Centre. Cost is $15/$12 concession, which includes supper. Doors open 6.30pm. Please register with Hinterland Bush Links 0448 447322.
