You can browse through over 50 stalls at the growing Witta Market Image supplied
The verdant surrounds of the Old Witta School are the perfect venue for the Witta Market on the third Saturday of each month. This growing market now has over 50 stalls, a new layout and different musicians playing each month.
In addition to the fabulous local producers who sell their meat, fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread and honey, the market now showcases many artisanal products including buffalo cheese, soap and beauty products, olives, handmade candles, tea, jewellery and homewares.
There is also an array of quality arts and crafts, all beautifully made with the highest attention to detail.
You can pick up a wide selection of plants from different stalls specialising in their own fields, from herbs and vegetable seedlings, to native plants and ornamentals, as well as mulch for the garden and good quality livestock feed.
One can indulge in a massage, henna tattoo or rune reading, as well as face painting for the kids. As ever the market is unique in being dog friendly.
Hot food and coffee is available each month along with a mouth watering array of baked goods.
Come along and support your local growers, producers and artisans and enjoy music and food in the communal dining marquees.
