New owners and a new doctor, but you’ll still see the same faces at Mapleton Medical Centre
When you walk along the little main street at Mapleton, it certainly has that ‘village’ feel, with some unique shops, a bakery, popular cafés and the well-established Mapleton Medical Centre.
For almost 40 years patients have been cared for by a team of welcoming professionals, something the Centre prides itself on. Opened in 1981 by business partners, Dr Ian Matthews and Dr Danny Cocks, it has recently been sold to Prime Medical Group.
Practice Manager, Elizabeth Gablonski, who has been with the Centre for nine years, says, “We still offer the same excellent service as always, and Dr Cocks and Dr Matthews are still on board to continue looking after their loyal patients.
“Jaswinder Singh Brar is our new Director and Business Manager, and will bring fresh ideas to make Mapleton Medical Centre even better for our patients.”
Doctor Tasneem Sultana has recently joined the team. Within a short time, she has settled in and is receiving admiration from the practice team and patients.
“We are proud of the services we offer this community,” says Elizabeth. “We look after generations of families and people trust us. We have a wide range of health care services under one roof and, under our new management, it really feels like we will continue going from strength to strength.”
