Sunday with Friends …  in the Botanic Gardens, 28 May

As part of the second annual Botanic Gardens Open Day across Australia and New Zealand, locals and visitors to the Sunshine Coast will have a special chance to meet, greet, relax and eat at the Arts & Ecology Centre Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens, Palm Creek Road, Tanawha on Sunday 28 May, from 8.30 to Lunch.

Organised by the Friends of the Gardens, the morning will include koala-spotting as well as guided walks, displays and free information on local plants and wildlife.
Learn fascinating facts about fungi, and find out why our Gardens are so special.

The  Friends will offer refreshments and light lunches, or visitors can bring a picnic and finish the day relaxing in the tranquil diversity of our bushland gardens and walking trails.
