Nambour Badminton Club
Nambour Badminton Club invites you to come along and learn a new sport – play badminton, Tuesday mornings from 9am.
There is a good purpose-built badminton facility near the showground in Nambour. You can have some exercise and fun at the same time and make new friends.
All ages are welcome, and newcomers will be given some assistance to learn the game.
If you have played tennis or squash, you will pick up badminton fairly easily. Racquets are available free of charge, as is morning tea. Wear sports clothes and non-marking shoes. Everyone who plays, enjoys it.
Your first time will cost you $5, after that $8. There is plenty of off-street parking. Entry is beside the bus shelter opposite Queensland Transport on Coronation Ave, Nambour.
The badminton hall has four courts. It was opened in March 1977 and badminton has been played here continuously for forty years.
Come along and try give it a try. Contact Eunice on 5448 5575, or just turn up.
