Thought-provoking talks, engaging sculpture, block party, art competitions, workshops, design technology, culinary delights, visual art and music will all be on the menu served up over ten days from September 2 to 11, 2016.
It starts with a lantern parade, indigenous story and ceremony, dance, music, interactive and public art, projections, stalls, spoken word and literature art at Omrah Street and Felicity Park, Caloundra, 5pm – 9.30pm, September 2.
The Free Community Celebration is a dynamic cultural experience featuring flamenco performance, street art, projections, interactive art displays, laneway bar, food and market stalls plus the innovative Pod Lounge in full swing with the sweet sounds of Dear Willow while PocketLove and Ayla are live on stage.
Caloundra in a glistening parade of lanterns, samba troupe and dancers, 6-7pm.
