Sacred Tree Café in Landsborough has just celebrated its first birthday on 26 November 2015 and owners mother/daughter team Julie and Sarah Jackson couldn’t be happier!
Running a café was something the friendly pair really wanted to experience, and they had been searching for the perfect business for some time.
When they came across this one it had “the added bonus was that it was situated in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland”, Julie said.
“Our food is prepared by our in house chef from mainly locally sourced produce”, said Julie.
Sarah, chef and part owner, said, “Our philosophy is simple – fresh produce, gourmet food made from raw ingredients, and with that special ingredient ‘love’.”
Julie keeps the business ticking over and runs front of house, while Sarah dedicates herself to creating fabulous food.
Great service is vital to the dynamic pair, and this shows in their attention to dietary needs. They cater to carnivores, vegetarians, vegans and those with food allergies and sensitivities.
“Some of our specialties include raw vegan desserts and gluten free meals and snacks.
Sacred Tree Café enjoys excellent feedback from customers on their coffee and weekend classics like eggs Benedict with house-made hollandaise, a gourmet steak sandwich, and their big brekkie, with house-made relish.
“Customers come back for our raw vegan desserts, which we also supply to Healthy Guru, and our gluten free brownies”, said Julie.
A new menu launch for summer has delicious breakfast and lunch choices for all taste buds. Some of the old favourites still on the menu.
A beautiful shady garden area at the back is home to water dragon lizards, and another covered area out the side that it popular with groups.
The café has wheelchair access, plenty of parking, a kid friendly menu, and also welcomes dogs.
