Lil’Fi and the Dirty Rascals and the Doc Span Band are performing at the Coolum Hotel on 7 July from 8pm.
Lil’ Fi is one of the original roots music performers on the festival circuit today. She is a dynamic entertainer with a unique songwriting style, and one of Australia’s finest award winning blues divas. Lil”Fi is a retro-punk vision, clutching her ukelele, belting out the blues with a heart too big not to be shared. Since teaming up in 1990, Doc Span (pictured), and Ross
Williams have played thousands of gigs. Appearing with a crack rhythm section, they put on a show that is straight from the heart of Blues culture.
Doc spent years playing his fat toned harmonica at clubs on Chicago’s west side and has travelled the world performing and even played to an audience of Grizzly bears in Montana. Ross is a seasoned pro who plays flawless, soulful electric blues guitar.
The Show starts with a set from each act then culminates with Lil Fi and Doc joining forces for an all out jam session at the end of the night.
