SophistiCAT once again brings its unique style of jazz to Beerwah Hotel with some swinging Jazz, soulful Blues and the infectious rhythms of Latin.
Comprised of some of the Sunshine Coast’s best musicians, SophistiCAT have been entertaining audiences all over the Coast with their smooth laid back music.
Pete Anthon on piano, Max Sportelli on drums and Ken Gibson on bass will provide a solid back line to the smooth sultry sounds of vocalist Catriona Cross, Brisbane Jazz singer who now calls the coast her home.
Catriona Cross commenced singing 20 years ago while studying privately in London .
Catriona spent ten years singing in and around London’s jazz clubs, wine bars, cafes and pubs as well as keeping a steady stream of private engagements. Her outstanding ability sees her very comfortably performing as a duo or heading up a twenty piece big band.
