The creative duo of Carolyn Sheather and Cathy Lawley have been invited to be artists in residence at the Immanuel Arts Festival from May 20-23. The invitation recognises their standing as artists on the Sunshine Coast as well as acknowledging their ongoing involvement in the Immanuel Arts Festival.
Throughout the Festival this close pair of friends will conduct skills workshops and presentations, including workshops with college students, an ‘open invitation’ workshop, and skills demonstrations.
Award-winning Artist Carolyn Sheather is a distinguished pastellist, whilst renowned clay artist Cathy Lawley is best known for her charismatic frogs on rustic buckets, and chooks on ladders.
