This month begins with Easter, traditionally set by the Sunday following the first Full Moon following the March Equinox, which was the Full Moon in Libra on 30 March.
Pluto goes retrograde from Wed 7 April. If anything in your life has been going through symbolic death throes in the last six months, this is a time when you are likely to revisit the whole process. If your birthday is around 27 Dec, you’re likely to be experiencing a very intense time while personal transformation goes on at a deep core level – the eventual outcome is empowerment, but it’s a long drawn-out process which won’t be complete till towards the end of 2011.
The New Moon falls in Aries on Wed 14 April, representing the opportunity for a bold new start – a time for finding your passion and taking action, possibly even taking up a cause that’s worth fighting for – or at least, putting a lot of energy into. If your birthday falls close to this New Moon, this is an important year of new beginnings in your life, particularly with regard to your identity and sense of self. The New Moon is exact at 10.28pm Queensland time.
Make sure important communications are out of the way before Mercury goes retrograde on Sun 18 April. This is a time to be careful with all forms of communication – especially signing contracts or making major purchases – be prepared to revise anything you agree to during this time. Use the period wisely to go through old papers and tidy up correspondence. Mercury is retrograde for 3 weeks until 12 May.
The Full Moon falls in Scorpio on Wed 28 April, bringing the possibility of secret or intensely private matters coming to light – it is likely to be a very emotional time with deep and passionate feelings.
