Fuse together blues, roots, reggae and folk music and combine heartfelt vocals with the timbres of more than 10 different instruments from over the world and you get the hinterland-based band Pacha Mamma.
The group is appearing at the Maleny Hotel on Friday April 9 at 8pm in a free show.
Their live shows have been described as “a raw and moving experience that will move your body, mind and spirit.
Pacha Mama is a Peruvian word meaning ‘earth mother’ and this well grounded group of instrumentalists are no stranger to the road. They have performed over 260 shows, played at many festivals large and small, and are embarking on a tour of the Whitsundays in mid April.
Pacha Mamma will also be releasing their limited edition ‘Wake Up’ album at their show in Maleny.
