Flame Hill Vineyard in partnership with Olvar Wood Writers retreat will host award-winning authors Mark Tredinnick and Steven Lang for an afternoon of great wine, words and conversation.
With spectacular hinterland views as a backdrop, Mark and Steven will read from their work and discuss the importance of landscape in their writing and the tradition of writing nature.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, meet the authors, and have your books signed. Copies of Mark and Steven’s books will also be available for purchase.
Starting at 3.00pm Flame Hill Vineyard in Montville on Friday April 16 each guest will enjoy a glass of sparkling or wine from their unique Queensland made range and a cheese/ tasting plate for each guest.
Author - Mark Tredinnick
Mark Tredinnick is the author of The Blue Plateau: A Landscape Memoir about the Blue Mountains and his experiences living there. Steven’s first novel, An Accidental Terrorist, won the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for best first novel 2006 and the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award for Best Emerging Author.
