If you’re looking for a functional teapot to pour a regular cup of tea, well you can forget that idea with sculptor and painter Charlie Moore’s Alice in Wonderland teapot series.
Charlie recently opened her new gallery in what was formerly the old ambulance dressing station in Maleny. She says she started working on the quirky Alice in Wonderland teapots more than two years ago, not long after she moved from Charters Towers where she ran a gallery and picture framing service; something she will soon be offering in Maleny.
“I wanted to ensure that each piece was colourful, bright and uplifting”, says Charlie, “and I thought I would also offer serious collectors out there an opportunity to purchase the complete collection, before it moves on to a city gallery.”
