The Hinterland often rivals the Coast these days for sophisticated entertainment. For example, the coming OPERATIF Opera Dinner at Flaxton Gardens on Saturday, 6 February at 6.30pm.
OPERATIF! present their first dinner show and fabulous night of opera, operetta, musicals and song at the recentlyrenovated Flaxton Gardens, now run by the talented Georgina and Alan Simpson. Gather on the terrace to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and canapés as you take in the setting sun and stunning coastal views. Proceed inside and take your place in the winery for an evening of fabulous entertainment set around a sumptuous main course, dessert, tea & coffee.
A feast of opera and song will be presented by renowned OPERATIF! artists, soprano Jennifer Parish, baritone Stewart Cameron, pianist John Colwill and special guest, Benjamin Fifita Makisi, known as the Polynesian Pavarotti.
The evening costs $90pp (inclusive of pre-dinner reception, two courses and entertainment) Drinks can be purchased by the glass, or bottles of wine start at $22. Seating will be by name. No tickets issued. Please advise any dietary concerns when booking.
