On Saturday February 6, The Delta Monarchs take the stage at the Palmwoods Hotel for the first chance for many music fans to see one of the highlight acts of the recently completed Woodford Folk Festival.
Then on Saturday February 20 when Palmwoods Got The Blues rolls back the covers, the Richter scale will be registering on the high side of OMG.
One of Palmwoods stars, Mojo Webb usually brings his crack band along for the ride. On the 20th, it’s a rare opportunity for blues fans to catch Mojo in his even heavier solo mode. Armed with just a guitar and harmonica, Mojo is acknowledged master of all styles of blues. www.mojowebb.com
Up next, Swamphouse (pictured below), have over 65 yrs of collective experience playing with James T & The Last Volunteers, The King Bees and the Cyril B Bunter band amongst them, only the most blasé of music fans would fail to turn up in plenty of time to catch their dance heavy mix of boogie and blues. www.swamphouse.com.au
The whole evening comes to a head when Mason Rack returns to take the stage where so many of his greatest performances have taken place. And as a bonus, Mason will be selling copies of his new dbl live album after the show. www.masonrack.com 8pm Saturday February 6 and 5.30pm February 20 – free entry both nights
