At Art on Caincross
IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE! Whether you see it as the anniversary of the birth of Christ, the end of the calendar year or just the ‘silly season’, most people see Christmas as a time to celebrate and a time to take stock and to show gratitude to family and friends.
For the past few years, it has also been the time for ‘Art on Cairncross’ to strangely boast that they have “Precious Little”. This year another wonderful collection of quality, artistic works is to be found at the gallery, allowing the discerning, options for finding the right something which will show thought and originality as a gift.
Captivating leadlight kaleidoscopes; hand-made books; small bronze animals and larger ceramic ones with attitude! Scarves in silk and more; unique, affordable pieces of jewellery and luscious ladies ceramics to always bring a smile.
Naturally, there are also smaller paintings and fine etchings; exquisite works in porcelain and glass, and even books about some of the artists. Think of the delight of giving or receiving a present which will be treasured for years and not be quickly dismissed or discarded.
If you are seeking a particular artwork by one of their artists, Tony or Jane will be happy to assist. Complimentary gift- wrapping for any purchases will even remove that chore and to try to ensure the present-hunting is a pleasurable task.
There will be champagne served throughout the opening weekend of December 5 and 6. Bring quality and joy back to the festive season!
“Precious Little” continues until Christmas at “Art on Cairncross” where the gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 5.00pm at Cairncross Corner.
