LOCAL children’s singer/songwriter Brett Campbell will have a busy time of it in September and October. Brett will perform free concerts at four of the Sunshine Coast nd hinterland’s premier festivals, in addition to his busy ound of daycare and kindy shows.
During the school holidays there will be plenty of free ntertainment for the kids. Brett will appear solo and with his and on all three days of the Utribe Festival, to be held at onondale from September 25-27. Entry to the Utribe Kids est is free for under 12s with paying adults.
Brett will also perform at ‘Kenilworth Celebrates’ with his uo on September 27, including performing a set on the rounds of the famous Kenilworth Cheese Factory.
As October rolls around Brett will be appearing on the hiess Services Village Stage at the Caloundra Music Festival. With a new album and DVD about to be released and ppearances at the Auckland Folk Festival in January 2010, rett is optimistic about taking his songs to a wider stage and ooks forward to a similarly busy year making kids smile with music and song.
