Range artist Penny Rogan (above) shows the conclusions of her travels around Australia in a colourful exhibition called ‘Moving On’ at ‘Peace Of Green Gallery’, 38 Maple Street, Maleny.
As a result of her travels there is a strong influence in her paintings of the red earth colours of ‘the Centre’ and Pilbara regions. Penny also had the opportunity to meet and paint with aboriginal artists during her travels, and she was particularly attracted to the art and culture of the Tiwi people of Bathurst Island.
