Local businessman Raithe Handiman is developing a website to foster innovative ideas on how to co-create the kind of world we’d all like to live in.
Brilliantworld.org has been two years in the making and is set to be released next month. Raithe is inviting visionary Hinterland thinkers to be among the first contributors.
Submissions have to be in a particular format and will be independently assessed according to five core values – inspiration; empowerment; open co-operation; sustainability; self-sufficiency.
Brilliantworld.org will be a global brainstorming forum with awards for the best submissions. Raithe’s business Blessed Earth will be putting up $5000 and other sponsors will be invited to contribute.
“Governments cannot fix the systemic problems of this world”, Raithe explains. “To do that we require fresh and original approaches. The first step is to empower a culture of inspired thinking so that we can envisage and discuss what life on earth could, and should be like”.
Miracles happen says Raithe, when we start to dream and he wants brilliantworld.org to provide that opportunity.
