Past relationships revisited
Venus goes retrograde on March 7, so will only be visible as the Evening Star for another few weeks now. She will start to appear lower in the evening sky until she disappears from view by the time of the next New Moon.
Venus signifies our urge to relate to others, so don’t be surprised if old friends and lovers reappear in your life during this retrograde phase of Venus - you may hear from people you haven’t seen for ages. This is a chance to revisit past relationships, especially if there is any unfinished business there – sometimes it is simply an amazing synchronicity, a chance meeting which gives us time to reconnect and rekindle old friendships. Venus is retrograde from March 7 till April 18.
The Full Moon in Virgo on March11 is likely to have a serious emotional tone, yet there is also the potential for a higher level of awareness at the spiritual level. The SE Queensland chart suggests that light may be shed on local community issues at this time – maybe bringing some surprises too.
The Autumn Equinox falls on March 20 this year. Day and night are of equal length and the sun moves into the pioneering sign of Aries. In the Celtic calendar this was the autumn feast of Mabon – in the northern hemisphere of course the seasons are reversed so it is the Spring Equinox, known to the Celts as Ostara, which is where we get the name ’Easter’ from.
The New Moon in Aries on March 27 is a powerful New Moon which aligns with Venus retrograde – an excellent time for a new start in an existing relationship, but any new relationship formed at this time is unlikely to last more than a few months. The New Moon is exact at 2.07am - the 24-hour period immediately following is a powerful time for manifesting, so put out your intentions.
