When business partners Steven Anderson and Chef Wayne Smith opened GR8 Company 6 weeks ago they knew there was an opening for quality take-out meals for people with busy lifestyles, while combining the option of in-house dining at affordable prices.
Wayne says, “ I insist on using only fresh seafood which is delivered straight from the trawler to you. Customers can rest assured that everything we serve is absolutely fresh, so no frozen seafood. Already on several days we’ve run out of fresh seafood platters mid-afternoon because the demand has been so great.”
“Then there is the farmer who supplies our 100% organic chickens”, explains Wayne. “He’s the only supplier I know using a chicken nutritionist and feeding his chickens on vegetable mash not pellets. The result is a beautifully succulent product.”
Newly available on the house-made take-out menu are:
Crab and prawn ravioli with a green peppercorn and dill sauce
Curry of the day may include a spicy beef Rendang or a seafood coconut curry.
Then there is Crispy skin Atlantic salmon, or the stunning seafood risotto, which have proved to be two of the most popular dishes on their menu.
