Monicas Cafe’ & BYO Dining have been flourishing in Maple Street Maleny for five and half years , and their success is due to a dedicated and efficient professional team offering fabulous food at reasonable prices.
For example, drop into the stylish cafe on any week day and you’ll notice the quiet bustle of patrons taking advantage of the Monday -Friday breakfast special of bacon and egg on sourdough for just $6.50. This is particularly popular with local business people who like to start their day at Monicas with a more substantial breakfast, coffee and a quick scan of the daily papers.

For those not so pressed for time there is a wider breakfast menu available until 12 noon.
Monicas’ team have now devised a great new summer menu which is inviting to both visitors and regular patrons. Try the Portuguese marinated chicken, or lightly toasted ciabatta with chorizo, tomato, red onion and avocado, tomato and lettuce. Then there is also an ALL NEW range of Paninis with a choice of five mouth-watering fillings including: Smoked Atlantic salmon, avocado, cream cheese and baby spinach or, Roast chicken, avocado, sundried tomato, cheddar cheese, pesto, mayo and lettuce, to name just two scrumptious fillings. The Panini range offers a lightly toasted quick bite to either eat- in or to take -away and eat on-the-go.
The menu also retains the perennial favourites that their loyal locals love such as: Sweet potato and lentil vegetarian patties, Gluten free char grilled vegetable terrine, and their famous gourmet burgers.
If that’s not enough choice, there is also an extensive blackboard specials menu which will change weekly and fortnightly depending on the availability of fresh seasonal produce.
If you’re in more of a hurry then there’s great coffee and a range of cakes just perfect for a catch-up with friends.
