Later this month a dedicated group of Maleny recorder players will present a concert of music from the 16th century to the modern day in aid of the Bridge Creek Community Garden.
Called Baroque and Beyond, the concert will include works by Dufay, Bach, Hook and two 20th century composers – Lance Eccles and Ross Edwards.
On display at the concert venue will be the full range of the gentle recorder family of instruments from sopranino to the great bass.
The concert is at the White Eagle Lodge, 19 Tesch Road, Witta on Sunday November 30 at 3pm. Cost is $15-adult, $12-concession, $5-child under 15, $30-family. Enquiries: 5494 3424.
