Hinterland gardeners are in for a treat when they visit the new garden centre just opened in Flaxton in the beautiful surrounds of the Allo Allo French Tea Rooms, right next door to Le Relais Bressan.
Over 1000 plants including a range of camellias, azaleas, rhododendron’s, natives, tropicals, fruit trees, and much more are now on display at the new Garden Centre which is aptly called ‘Le Jardin’ – French for ‘the garden’.
“Le Jardin has completely renovated our 2 large garden areas and increased them to include a fruit tree and native section as well”, said Thiery Clerc. “it is quite spectacular!”
The Garden Centre features an exciting range of plants suitable for hinterland gardens as well as a range of garden pots, statues and water features. Stunning garden areas have been created including a potagers (herbs and veges) garden, cottage and succulent areas, tropicals, natives – including indigenous species and much more.
A ‘designer tree’ section is also on the make which will be expanding over the coming weeks. The garden shop is also open with a range of indoor plants, pots and local art.
“Le Jardin is answering the need of many hinterland gardeners who wish to select from a comprehensive range of plants that have been chosen with hinterland growing conditions in mind,” said Jamie Hill from 305 Landscapes in Montville.
