Artist Kevin Oxley has been painting portraits for many years. As a member of “Portrait Artists Australia” he was invited to enter a portrait for the forthcoming exhibition “The Art of Healing” to be held in Sydney on October 13.

There was an obvious choice of subject for Kevin who has been battling pancreatic cancer for several years. Dr. Greg Wren was his GP for 14 years before Greg left Maleny, but the friendship has been maintained. The portrait of Greg pays homage to a valued doctor who served Maleny for almost twenty years.
